One day while i was battleing i used spore on a pokemon and it went asleep but on the next turn i pressed spore again by accident. After i put his first pokemon asleep he sent out a new one and got hit by my second spore. After that he yelled at me for braking the rules but it wasnt my fault that he switched pokemon.
I was thinking maybe this could be a sleep clause trap. For example one person uses spore on an infernape. Then the infernapes trainor wants to switch pokemon so i cant put anyone else to sleep. But the first trainor uses spore again as a trap so if he switches, his new pokemon will fall asleep. Techinically it wouldnt be braking the sleep clause rule because they were trying to use spore on a pokemon already asleep.
what do you think?

Actually that's what everybody does if you don't have the sleep clause in affect. It's not a way around it either. You ended up putting two pokemon to sleep on the other side; your broke the sleep clause.
